Erratum to: "Oscillation of forced neutral differential equations with positive and negative coefficients" [Comput. Math. Appl 54 (2007) 1411-1421]

In [1], the author studied the oscillation of forced neutral delay differential equations with positive and negative coefficients, having the following form: [x(t)− R(t)x(t − r)] + P(t)x(t − τ)− Q(t)x(t − σ) = f (t), (1) where R, P, Q ∈ C([t0,∞),R) with r > 0, τ ≥ σ ≥ 0. The readers are referred to [1] for further details. The author uses an ill representation which yields a mistake. To avoid t...

Oscillation of Solutions of Second Order Neutral Differential Equations with Positive and Negative Coefficients

In this paper we obtain oscillation criteria for solutions of homogeneous and nonhomogeneous cases of second order neutral differential equations with positive and negative coefficients. Our results improve and extend the results of Manojlović, Shoukaku, Tanigawa and Yoshida [6].

Oscillation Properties of a Class of Neutral Differential Equations with Positive and Negative Coefficients

In this paper, oscillatory and asymptotic property of solutions of a class of nonlinear neutral delay differential equations of the form (E) d dt (r(t) d dt (y(t) + p(t)y(t− τ))) + f1(t)G1(y(t− σ1))− f2(t)G2(y(t− σ2)) = g(t) and d dt (r(t) d dt (y(t) + p(t)y(t− τ))) + f1(t)G1(y(t− σ1))− f2(t)G2(y(t− σ2)) = 0 are studied under the assumptions ∞ ∫ 0 dt r(t) <∞ and ∞ ∫

New Oscillation Criteria for Second-Order Neutral Delay Differential Equations with Positive and Negative Coefficients

and Applied Analysis 3 By using weaker conditions than in 4, 10 , Karpuz et al. 1 have established oscillation criteria for differential equation [ x t ∑ i∈R ri t x αi t ]′′ ∑ i∈P pi t x ( βi t ) − ∑ i∈Q qi t x ( γi t ) f t . 1.6 In this paper, we shall continue in the direction to study the oscillatory properties of 1.1 and 1.2 . We establish new oscillation criteria for 1.1 and 1.2 , which ex...

Forced oscillation of higher-order nonlinear neutral difference equations with positive and negative coef“cients

In this paper, we study the forced oscillation of the higher-order nonlinear difference equation of the form m x(n) – p(n)x(n – τ) + q 1 (n) α (n – σ 1) + q 2 (n) β (n – σ 2) = f (n), where m ≥ 1, τ , σ 1 and σ 2 are integers, 0 < α < 1 < β are constants, * (u) = |u| *–1 u, p(n), q 1 (n), q 2 (n) and f (n) are real sequences with p(n) > 0. By taking all possible values of τ , σ 1 and σ 2 into c...
